Flick the Switch (Single Abum Cover)

Flick the Switch (Single Abum Cover)

This is our new CD cover for King of Spain's single 'Flick the Switch', and we decided to use the image of the band this time and make it even more original, but still slightly misterious, like our first idea using an effect from, the 'Comic Life' Programme.
The background is an original image from their own website, so we thought it would be very interesting to use, and it turned out to be very good, and worked quite well with the image and theme.
There is also the back cover for our CD with the King of Spain track list.

Lyric Analysis

Well I wanna flick the switch I wanna watch you itch I wanna watch you twitch tonight

And I wanna flick the switch I wanna scratch that itch I wanna watch you twitch tonight

I know what I want and its you, I know what I want and its you

I know what I want and its you, I know what I want and its you

And I’ll take you out to lunch in the credit crunch I wanna watch you munch and lie

And I’ll take you out to lunch in the credit crunch I wanna watch you munch and lie

I know what I want and its you, I know what I want and its you

I know what I want and its you, I know what I want and its you.

Well I wanna flick the switch I wanna watch you itch I wanna scratch that itch tonight

And I wanna flick the switch I wanna scratch that itch I wanna watch you twitch and lie

According to the band King of Spain, the meaning to lyrics of the song are a idealogical representation of a man wanting the dominate control or power over his sexual desire. The harsh times of the credit crunch mean that a man who has stable financial security (a rich wealthy man) has power to get whatever he wants, while less financially stable people are unable to afford to do so. Therefore the man becomes abusive with his power to dominate others less fortunate them because of the large amount of money he owns.
